What is Junk Music?

This an inclusive and exciting  project for young people aged 8-12 years old to make and play musical instruments from recycled materials. Now an accredited course,  students will receive a certificate of attendance from Youth Music of the Arts Council.

Gary Bowden (Pool of Sound) will be working with up to 12 young people to create a range of physical and virtual instruments in partnership with the Nunsmoor Centre Trust. This is an open joyous celebration and exploration of young people’s capacities to create new forms of music by following the sound of new instruments.

When:   Tuesdays for 8 weeks, 5 pm-6.30 pm. Starts 22nd January 2019.

Don’t worry if this course is fully booked, there will be another one next term.
